Dr. Vicky Wong received her optometric doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL with the distinction of Gold Key Honor Society. She completed an ocular disease residency at the Lexington VA Medical Center affiliated with the University of Kentucky with a special emphasis in Low Vision. Dr. Wong currently practices primary eye care with an emphasis on myopia control and dry eye management. Dr. Wong is a founding member of the Young ODs of America, and an active AOA member and part of the Vision Rehabilitation Section. She has written lectures and articles on myopia management, dry eye, and strabismic amblyopia. In addition, Dr. Wong enjoys serving as the Chief Medical Officer of the Myopia Institute and a contributing eyecare writer for patient education within the Eyecare department of IntroWellness. Both Dr. Wong and her husband Dr. Chun AuYeung are active members of the Maryland Optometric Association where she currently serves as the MOA 1st Vice President.
Dr. Wong is a self-proclaimed foodie, enjoys volleyball, and playing with her faithful Pomeranian, Maddox (named after the optometric tool, the Maddox Rod, naturally). Recent quarantine skills include baking sourdough bread.
