Dr. Rubin graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry, and she joined the team at Shady Grove Eye and Vision Care in 2014. Dr. Rubin has really enjoyed seeing her patients’ families grow over the years. She likes fitting challenging contact lens cases, including scleral lenses, ortho K and multifocal contact lenses. Dr. Rubin and her husband (who is also a SUNY College of Optometry alumni), have been members of the Maryland Optometric Association for over 20 years. She became a Board-Certified Optometrist Diplomate in 2015. She is passionate about community service and is a volunteer at a multi-disciplinary clinic in the county. She is looking forward to traveling on a VOSH trip with her husband and two teenage daughters in the near future.
In her free time, Dr. Rubin enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.
