Max Mara
The Max Mara sunglasses collection proposes both metal and acetate models with oversized silhouettes, characterised by chunky frames and metal trims that identify the brand.
The logo can appear sunk into temples or etched onto tiny metal tabs, sometimes adorned by diamante, positioned at the bottom of temples or at the top edge. In some models the logo appears on original diagonal adornments which delimit the lens or is directly etched onto the tenon of temples.
Attractive streaks give extra depth to the colour of acetate frames in classic shades of havana, grey and black as well as original hues of dark purple, cherry, granite, shaded camel, pink, lilac, turquoise and coral.
Prescription frames in acetate are lit up by rows of diamante on the lugs and by tiny metal inserts etched with the brand name.
A number of metal frames feature acetate temples, which are decorated with elongated "M" shaped trims secured with tiny visible screws.
There are also particularly interesting, original frames in fine sheet metal with slender temples adorned by a circular diamante stone, as well as cats' eyes-shaped frames with contrasted milling on lugs and temples.
