Dr. Alan N. Glazier:

Dr. Glazier is the owner and founder of Shady Grove Eye & Vision Care. Dr. Glazier holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and a Doctorate from the New England College of Optometry. He is a longstanding member of the Maryland Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is the founder, CEO and inventor of core technology patents of Vision Solutions Technology, a company with a novel implantable lens that benefits people suffering from macular degeneration. He is also the CEO and Chairman of the Board of VisImmune, a biotechnology company. In 1998, his peers selected Dr. Glazier as the Maryland Young Optometrist of the Year. Dr. Glazier's patient care interests include specialty contact lenses and low vision.

Dr. Wendy Rothman:

Dr. Rothman has been in optometric practice for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is certified in the management and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Rothman was the first woman appointed to serve on the Board of Examiners in Optometry and holds membership in the Maryland and American Optometric Associations. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia and D.C. Although her practice has been devoted to family vision care, she has specialty training in contact lenses and children's vision. She is fully dedicated to taking the time to meet the needs of each of her patients.

Dr. Hannah Yecheskel:

Dr. Yecheskel completed her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Maryland and her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University with honors. Dr. Yecheskel is a longstanding member of the Maryland Optometric Association and is certified in the management and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Yecheskel practices general optometry and she focuses her expertise in the areas of specialty contact lenses (such as orthokeratology and bifocal contact lenses) and vision therapy for both children and adults. Her dedication to patient care is seen through her kind bedside manner and her attention to detail.

Dr. Alma Hernandez:

Dr. Hernandez holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston.  She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, receiving honors in her clinical rotations.  Dr. Hernandez is a member of the Maryland Optometric Association and is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.  She practices full scope optometry with a focus in the management and treatment of glaucoma and systemically derived ocular disease such as diabetes and hypertension.  She specializes in low vision, dedicating her expertise to the art and science of helping those who are visually impaired.  Dr. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish and English.
